'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the maiden significant honor of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he earlier was, and would definitely contemplate extending his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."

Looking Ahead

  • Continued success with Bayern Munich stays Kane's main focus
  • The possibility of a Premier League return has considerably decreased
  • New contract negotiations could start in the coming future
  • Kane's remarkable goal-scoring form continues to astound
